A listener-funded classical music service of the University of Oregon, KWAX has a dedicated audience of 23,000 weekly listeners in the Eugene-Springfield area. Each day, it provides listeners in the state and around the world with 24 hours of the world’s greatest music spanning centuries and styles. Tune in or stream for live daily broadcasts, syndicated specialty music programs, Listener’s Choice Fridays, and news of regional arts and cultural events.

The 20,000-watt station has a network of transmitters and translators from Salem down to Roseburg in the Willamette Valley, from Redmond to Sunriver in Central Oregon, and in Florence and Newport at the Oregon coast.  Thousands of individual donors and many community-minded businesses support the KWAX mission and its enduring music.
